Rev. Dennis Logie

Senior Chaplain

     Dennis Logie has been a chaplain with the San Mateo County Chaplaincy since its founding.  He has served as a senior chaplain and serves several agencies in the county including the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office and the San Francisco Airport.
     Dennis is a longtime resident of the county and is a retired pastor of Sequoia Christian Church and active with local non-profits and his church.  He studied at Stanford and is married with two adult children and four grandchildren.  He plays softball, is a sports fan, and a voracious reader.  He enjoys music from opera to folk.   


Dick Morton

Chaplain

       Dick Morton is a  retired Sergeant from the Redwood City Police Department.  He has been a Chaplain with SMCC since the very beginning.  He also serves as Chaplain with the Woodside Fire District and Menlo Park Fire District.  As an active member of St. Pius Catholic church, he serves as Eucharistic Minister, lector and Chaplain for Sequoia Hospital.
      Dick is a member of the Clergy Emergency Response Team for SFO, a founding member of San Mateo County Critical Incident Stress Management and a member of the Federation of Fire Chaplains.
      Dick is married with five children, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  In his spare time he loves to travel, read and listen to musc.   
       


Todd Gumbrecht

Chaplain

     Todd is a Ten-year veteran of the San Mateo County Chaplaincy serving with the Redwood City Police Department.  He is also a member of the San Francisco International Airport Crisis Intervention Team as a crisis chaplain.  Todd is a member of the International Conference of Police Chaplains, holding the rank of Master Chaplain.
     Todd was born and raised in Long Island, New York, to a family of first responders.  He graduated from the fire academy in 1992, and served as a combat firefighter/medic until 1994, when his aspirations shifted towards law enforcement aviation..  Todd graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2005, and has served the Redwood City community through the Peninsula Covenant Church since 2000.  Todd loves the New York Mets baseball team, motorcycles, time spent with friends and a tasty cigar.
